Welcome to the Affinity Healing Center!
The incentive to create the Affinity Healing Center came when my Mother died a tragic death in a Nursing Home in 2007. I made a vow to create not just a model facility for the Baby Boom Generation to make transition with dignity, but one that offered an environment of beauty, respect, honor and consciousness. Personally, I’d like to be there when I die.
At this stage of its creation, being that it is comprised of me and a handful of wonderful employees, the journey is just beginning. I am healing myself from MS (have been a power chair user for 19 years) and know a lot about being in pain, experiencing loss and having to ask for help. I also know now more then ever about how cool (or cruel) the mind can be, and how being in the present moment is inevitable.
It is my intention to have the Center available for all walks of life to come and serve and be served. I envision it embracing all age groups, providing in-house and out of house programs in education, and projects and research in addition to being a safe place to make transition with dignity. It is an easy and fun place where people have choices and are empowered.
This is a center offering a variety of bodywork services, consultations, and workshops. The center offers unique experiences that are a blending of techniques and teachings obtained through 40 years of experience. Clients and students are given personal attention with regard to their awareness of energy, intuition, and understanding of body mechanics.
The hardest part about receiving a bodywork session is taking the time out of your schedule to do so! Bodywork provides a wide range of benefits, including but not limited to the release of physical and emotional tension, greater ease and range of movement, relief from muscular fatigue and pain, and improved circulation and breathing.
